Description

Ulnar Collateral Ligament of the Thumb
- Runs along the ulnar side of the metacarpophalangeal Joint of the thumb
- Composed of the collateral ligament, accessory collateral ligament
- Prevents abduction or valgus/ radial deviation of the thumb at the 1st MTPJ
Radial Collateral Ligament of the Thumb
- Runs along the radial side of the metacarpophalangeal Joint of the thumb
- Prevents adduction or varus/ulnar deviation of the thumb at the 1st MTPJ
Dorsal Deltoid Shaped Ligaments
- Dorsal radial Ligament
- Dorsal central Ligament
- Posterior oblique Ligament
Volar Ligaments
- Anterior oblique Ligament
- Ulnar Collateral Ligament
Ulnar Ligament
- Intermetacarpal Ligament
- Dorsal Trapeziometacarpal Ligament
