Purpose
- To evaluate the Tarsal Tunnel as the cause of foot and ankle pain
Description
- Place the foot into maximal plantarflexion and inversion
- Hold this position for 10-15 seconds before returning the foot to neutral
- Positive
- Patient develops pain or paresthesia in distal branches of the posterior tibial nerve
