Purpose

  • Evaluate the Plicae as a cause of knee pain

Description

  • The patient is seated
  • They quickly and actively extend the knee as in kicking a ball
  • Positive test
    • Reproduction of pain
    • Thought to be due to the abrupt tension on the plica from the quadriceps femoris muscle.
