Name

  • Posterior cutaneous nerve of arm
  • Internal cutaneous branch of musculospiral
  • Posterior brachial cutaneous nerve
  • Nervus cutaneus posterior brachii

General

  • Sensory branch of the radial nerve
  • Provides sensory information for much of the back of the arm

Gross Anatomy

  • Originates in the axilla
  • Passes to the medial side of the area supplying the dorsal surface almost to the olecranon
  • Crosses behind and communicates with the intercostobrachial nerve

Clinical Significance
