- Musculus rhomboideus minor
General
- Extrinsic muscle of the shoulder, located deep to trapezius
- Part of the Rhomboid Muscle Group
Origin
- Ligamentum nuchae and C7 and T1 vertebra
Insertion
- Medial border of the Scapula near the base of the scapular spine
Actions
- Retracts and rotates the scapula
- Fixes scapula to the thoracic wall
- In conjunction with the Rhomboid Major
Vascular Supply
Innervation
