Purpose
- Assess the integrity of the Thumb Carpometacarpal Joint
Description
- The patient is seated or standing
- Examiner grips the patients metacarpal bone of the thumb and apply an axial load
- You can move in gentle circles
- Positive test
- Pain
- Crepitus
Pathology
Evidence

- Sensitivity: 30% - 53%
- Specificity: 80% - 96.7%
