  • Patient places hand of affected side on opposite shoulder
  • Patient actively raises elbow
  • Positive test
    • Pain or weakness in shoulder

Modification

  • Patient places hand of affected side on opposite shoulder
  • Patient actively raises elbow against resistance
  • Positive test
    • Pain or weakness in shoulder
