Origin

  • Posterior surface of proximal half of Radius and Ulna
  • Interosseous Membrane

Insertion

Actions

  • Extension and abduction of digit 1 (thumb) at the carpometacarpal joint
  • Extension of wrist at radiocarpal joint

Vascular Supply

Nerve
