Purpose
- Evaluates Hamstrings as a cause of hip or thigh pain
Description
- The patient is supine
- The hip and knee are maximally flexed
- The examiner slowly straightens the leg
- Positive test:
- Reproduction of the patients pain
Modified Bent Knee Stretch Test
- Same setup as standard bent knee stretch test
- Examiner rapidly straigtens the leg
