- Medial brachial cutaneous nerve
- Lesser internal cutaneous nerve
- Nerve of Wrisberg
General
- Sensory branch originating from the medial cord of the brachial plexus and roots C8-T1
- Provides sensory innervation of the medial arm
- Descends the extremity accompanied by the basilic vein
Gross Anatomy
- Smallest and most medial branch of the brachial plexus
- Passes through the axilla
- Initially behind and then medial to axillary vein
- Communicates with intercostalbrachial nerve
- Descends medial to brachial artery
- Pierces the deep fascia
- Innervates with the posterior lower third of the arm down to the elbow
- Communicates with the medial cutaneous nerve of arm
