  • Posterior Superior Iliac Spine
  • PSIS
  • Spina iliaca posterior superior

General

  • Bony projection of the posterior ilium at the posterior end of the iliac crest
  • Not as easily palpated as the anterior superior iliac spine
  • Often noted on exam superficially to the "dimple of venous" above the medial gluteal region
