General

• Part of the palmar radiocarpal ligament complex
• Forms the lateral portion of the wrist joint capsule
• Extends from the styloid process of the radius
• Inserts on distal aspect of scaphoid, proximal capitate
• Some fibers extend to the trapezium, contributing to the radial collateral ligament of the wrist
