  • Base of the fifth metatarsal
  • Tendon sheath of peroneus longus (fibularis longus)

Insertion

• Lateral aspect of the base of proximal phalanx of fifth toe

Actions

• Flexion of fifth toe at the metatarsophalangeal joint

Vascular Supply

• Lateral plantar artery (branch of the posterior tibial artery)

Innervation

• Lateral Plantar Nerve
