- Fibrous expansion composed of superficial and deep layers
- The deep and superficial layers coalesce and insert on the patellar tendon, patella and quadriceps tendon
- They also extend posteriorly to blend with the medial margin of the knee joint capsule, inferior surface of medial tibial condyle

- Fibers of vastus medialis muscle
- Tendon of vastus medialis
- Sartorius
- Medial Collateral Ligament
