• Flat quadrangular muscle situated in the upper portion of the thigh
• Part of the hip adductor muscles
• Part of the Medial Compartment of the Thigh

Origin

• Superior Pubic Ramus (pectineal line of pubis)

Insertion

• Pectineal line of Femur
• Linea aspera of Femur

Actions

• Flexion, Adduction, External Rotation, and Internal Rotation of the thigh
• Stabilizes the pelvis

Vascular Supply

• Medial Femoral Circumflex Artery
• Obturator Artery

Innervation

• Femoral Nerve (L2-L3)
• Obturator Nerve (L2-L3)
