• Ribs 3-5

Insertion

• Coracoid Process of the Scapula

Actions

• Scapulothoracic Joint
  • Stabilizes scapula with inferior, anterior forces against the thoracic wall
• Raises the ribs during inspiration

Vascular Supply

• Pectoral branch of thoracoacromial trunk

Innervation

• Medial Pectoral Nerve
