• Origin: Posterior surface of Tibia, Fibula, Interosseous Membrane

Insertion

• Tuberosity of Navicular
• Cuneiform Bones
• Cuboid
• Base of 2nd - 4th Metatarsal

Actions

• Talocrural joint: Foot plantarflexion
• Subtalar joint: Foot inversion
• Supports medial longitudinal arch of foot

Vascular Supply

• Branches of the Posterior Tibial Artery

Innervation

• Tibial Nerve (L4, L5)
