Purpose


Description

  • Patient is seated or standing
  • Pronate the affected hand and stabilize the lunate
  • Push up on the triquetrum and down on the lunate
  • Observe the patient for tenderness or pain
  • Compare with contralateral hand
  • Positive test:
    • Pain
    • Subluxation
    • Crepitus
