General

• Connects the scaphoid to the capitate
• Contributes to the palmer midcarpal ligaments, stability of midcarpal joint
• Contributes to stability of Scaphotrapeziotrapezoidal Joint

Gross Anatomy

• Proximal: distal pole of the scaphoid
• Distal: palmer cortex of the capitate
• Runs obliquely and parallel to Radioscaphocapitate ligament

• Best evaluated in oblique plane reconstruction along its long axis
