Function
- Stabilizes the carpal bones of the midcarpal joint
- Allows gliding motion between the bones
- Resists flexion between the triquetrum and hamate
MRI Features
- Looks like a mirror image of the Scaphotrapeziotrapezoid Ligament
- Best viewed on sagittal plane, also seen in coronal[3]
- More easily viewed with MR arthrograph
