Description

Names
- Triquetrocapitate ligament
General
- Connects the Triquetrum to the capitate
- Contributes to the palmer midcarpal ligaments, stability of midcarpal joint
- Contributes to the arcuate ligament of the wrist
Gross Anatomy
- Attaches proximally to the triquetrum at its distal/radial corner
- Attaches distally to the ulnar side of the capitate
- Runs radially to the triquetrohamate ligament
MRI Features
- Best viewed in the coronal plane, aided by ulnar deviation
- More easily viewed with MR Arthrography[2]
